Virginia Beach I-64 to VA-44E
Excellent military only hideaway in busy VA Beach and Norfolk. Quiet, secluded back in sites with power and water. Dump station in campground. Enjoyed the area family and friends!
We stayed at the 67st Townhomes and it was GREAT! Mrs Mea, who works at Ft. Story MWR and handles the properties was fantastic to us! I will come back just because of her. What a great person to help us out! THANK YOU!!!!
It's our favorite getaway!
Beautiful golf course with a really sweet elevated tee on the driving range.
The beach is fantastic!!
On Jan 30, 2024, I was totally disrespected during my interaction with Mr. Harris. He identified himself as 1 sgt Harris. His poor tone, attitude, and customer service has a negative impact on how I view the Navy Lodge Customer Service Staff. I wanted to make reservations at the 67 Street Townhomes at Fort Story Virginia, (Navy Getaways RV Parks, Campgrounds & Vacation Rentals) and Mr. Harris (1 sgt. Retired) was antagonistic and rude to no end. If your establishment is important to you, I recommend that he (Mr. harris) be fired and escorted from the establishment. Feel free to contact me about that serious complaint.

***edit*** I had to come back and make an edit… I said below don’t let this camp ground die do to budget cuts but they raised the prices on me earlier this year by almost $12 a night went from paying $7XX a month to $1,100 a month!! With no sewer hook ups, and uneven/ unpaved parking spots!!! $1,100 is INSANE!!! The sites have tree sap that drops all over your rig and your vehicle… I hope they price them selves into failure!!! This place is not worth $1,100 a month ($35 a night). I’ve stayed on the Beach in Florida for $18-$21 (around 500-600 a month) for concrete pads and full hook ups. This park needs LOTS OF UPGRADES to be charging so much*** edit complete***
(the following is the original 4 start review)
Please don’t let this campground die do to budget cuts or MWR fund shortages. This place is quiet and great for camping when getting outside the city isn’t always an option. Water/ power… sewer dump is up at entrance to camp ground. They have a descent bathhouse and free laundry!
My only complaint is their is a playground and pavilion that could be used. With a little TLC and I mean little. A good mowing, maybe some paint this place could really be a beautiful asset to the base. There is about 15 of those heavy plastic weather resistant picnic tables about to be consumed by weeds… THOSE CANT BE CHEAP.. it also has a brick fireplace and oven!! 30-40 mins with some mortar repair and that thing would be one BBQing beast!!! But because it’s out of site out of mind, I’m afraid it’s going to degrade and fall apart.
