Enjoyed our stay. Hiked all the trails in two days. The gorge bottom was not open, it had rained yesterday. Not much in the town, but Walmart is only 10 minutes away.

Sites 41,42,43 are long drive ways, but the road to the site can't accommodate a big rig. There is a tight turn with a narrow road and some low branches. So if your big and tall think twice and do some digging into more reviews of some who may have done it. So far there isn't anyone in these sites bigger than 32is feet. Site 44 is weird with having the table bbq and fire pit on the same side as the water and electric. The bathrooms are old but aren't as filthy as previous reviews. Maybe the park is finally getting the hint after 2 plus years of bad reviews. I would stay again.

Lots of traffic noise from the main road that is very close by. Clean campground, decent bathrooms and showers. They are selling half full bags of non-seasoned, non-burning firewood for $7 a half-bag. Don’t buy it. It won’t burn very well.

The campsites are pretty close together and our site’s (#44) fire pit was awkwardly situated for a tent. The comfort station near the front of the campground is very well kept, the one in the middle, a little less so, but still decent. The campground seems smaller than it looks on the map. The park is pretty, most of the sites are shaded, and there’s an entrance to

The trails at the back of the campground. You can hear traffic all day. Still, We had a lovely time over Memorial Day.
