Truly beautiful state park!! Even though it is a short drive through it, I’d highly recommend stopping and taking some time to enjoy this place!! Lots of great sights and the damn down the road is quite cool. Overall would highly recommend!!

Great spot for the Holiday Weekend! Wonderful time with family and friends. We will be booking more time at Tough Creek, exploring other camping spots.

The only bad thing was that our neighbors didn't keep their dogs leashed, one dog came down and started peeing on our stuff. Irritating!!

Awesome. Son reserved 3 sites. Camped 4 nights. 11 in family. Camped 1 night last summer. Afternoon picnic summer of 20. User/family friendly. Well marked. Ranger made frequent rounds. Educated on regulations. Thank you Wyoming. Thank you to the vision of Mr Boysen. Beautiful.

Pros: Really beautiful site. Super friendly camp host and his dog. Convenient for overnight camping. Noticed a lot of people stopped by to go to the pit toilet. Con: The campground is overrun with flies and yellow jackets that we couldn’t stand outside during the day.

This was our 1st time camping at Boysen. We stayed 3 nights at the Lower Wind River Campground. Our spot was right next to the river. It was beautiful and very quiet - not a party spot. Super easy to get to our site. The campground is literally right off the highway. The camp host was very nice and answered all our questions. Vault toilets were very clean and the campground itself was veey well taken care of. There is a playground, volleyball net and horseshoe pits. 2 downsides - cotton was blowing off the cottonwood trees like crazy & be prepared for the train across the river going by at all hours of the night. We will definitely be going back.
