Absolutely the best experience ever! Our family of 4 went for the morning ride. Every single person was friendly and knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed our time. A must if you are looking for your family from beginner to expert. You won’t be disappointed. Next visit to Virginia , Fort Valley Ranch will be a place to return on the top of our list. A true gem! Don’t miss out!!!!!

We had an amazing time riding! We did the 1 hour trail ride and it was wonderful. Lots of different terrain to go over, beautiful scenery, and blissfully shaded. My daughter has been riding for a few years, but my son and I are completely green. We were paired with horses that suited us well, though honestly they all seemed to have great temperaments. All staff members were engaging, friendly, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

I love Fort Valley Ranch! The staff is amazing and the cabin stay was so relaxing. The guest ranch package included our cabin stay and our trail ride at an amazing price you cant beat. The trail ride was SO beautiful and the scenery was unbelievable. The wranglers were so professional and talked throughout the ride and were there ready to help if needed, or answer any questions you had.

Beautiful Campground! Our friends and their family and my family had stayed here from Wed-Sun (sites 1 and 2) and it was one of the most peaceful campgrounds we have stayed at. When we first booked we were told about their buddy sites where you can face your Campers facing each other and it was so nice being able to do so. The sites were also very spacious which we also really enjoyed, since we had 3 kids staying with us. They had plenty of room to run around and play. Our friend’s family stayed in the Elk cabin and it felt cozy. Very clean inside and spacious!

Also, another great perk about this campground is they offer horse trail rides and horse rides for the little kids around the campground. Our friends and us loved the hour trail ride through the forest. It was beautiful and we seen a few deer up close. I would like to thank our trail guide Derek for such a good experience. He was very nice! My son loved the horse ride on cricket around the campground and even though he was tired and almost fell asleep, he loved the ride so much. All he wanted to do was ride the horses. I want to thank Brady (I believe that was his name) for guiding him around on cricket!

Last but not least I want to thank everyone at this campground for making it a really good experience for my family and my friends and their family. Everyone was so friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. We loved it here! Hoping to bring some of our family again next year!

I'm delighted to share a wonderful experience we had on our first horseback riding adventure! Three of us set out on this exciting journey, and it was nothing short of amazing.

Peter and Jake, our wranglers for the day, were absolutely fantastic. Their expertise and patience put us at ease from the moment we arrived. They guided us through every step, ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the ride. Their passion for horses and the outdoors was evident, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The scenery was breathtaking, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. It was a day filled with laughter, bonding, and unforgettable memories. Our horses, Mohawk, Alvin, and Parker all had fun personalities and we loved every second getting to know them.

We're incredibly grateful for the opportunity to embark on this adventure, and we can't thank Peter, Jake, and the entire team enough for making our first horseback riding experience a truly remarkable one. We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a memorable outdoor adventure.
