My family spent Memorial weekend at Deer Run Campground and it was our first time camping there. We enjoyed it. It did rain a lot of the weekend but that didn't spoil our time. The owner's cooked barbecue for campers and we carried a covered dish and met a lot of nice people. Quite place but plenty to do. Pool, playground, and arcade were added bonuses. Though a squirrel cut our power for a day and a 1/2, we still enjoyed our weekend and look forward to going back.
This is an amazing campground. It was my first time staying but I have visited family before. It isn't always a busy place due to the follow the rules or get out attitude of the owners. However they are great people and very friendly people. I would highly recommend if in the area.
We had a great time last weekend camping at Deer Run Campground with our friends. The owners were very eager to help in any way. It was a family friendly environment. The sites were spacious, nice and shady. The bath house was freshly painted and very clean. Extra precautions were taken due to Covid-19 virus. We would definitely return to this campground again.
We visited here last year and instantly fell in love with the campground and people. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. It is the home away from home we were looking for. It is a peaceful getaway with great amenities for the family. They have a very well stocked store so the chances are if you forgot something they have it. The bathhouses are some of the nicest and cleanest ones we've seen and they even have laundry on site. In October, they have a haunted house that is fantastic! Book those weekends early as it is that good!!! There is trick or treating ahead of time for the kiddos.
Great location. quiet, fall is a perfect time to visit, lots of trees, full color.
