Fly Fisherman & Nature Lover's Spot #1 (with 30 Amp Hookup)

Welcome to an extraordinary parking spot on our four acres in the Poconos!

Experience the convenience, comfort, and natural beauty of this property. Whether you're a van lifer or an RV traveler, this spot will be a haven for your overnight stay.

Situated between Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg, our location offers easy access to stunning scenery: across the street, a serene creek for fly fishing (PA Fishing License link: https://www.fishandboat.com/Fishing/Buy-License/Pages/default.aspx#) and a 10 acre park with a walking trail are open to the public from dusk until dawn. A vibrant Main Street in Stroudsburg with restaurants, breweries, wineries, and shops is just a few miles away.

Water, electricity (30 Amp RV Receptacle on the side of the studio but you will need your adapter), and WiFi is included in the base price.

The large circular driveway accommodates even the biggest vehicles, ensuring a stress-free parking experience. The studio 1:2 bath, kitchen, and patio or front deck will also be available for your use.

Our friendly and accommodating hosts are ready to assist you, providing a warm welcome and insider tips on the best spots to explore in the area. Water parks, ski resorts, and the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area are just a short drive away.

This property and its surroundings once belonged to the Penn Hills Honeymoon Resort and the park across the street was once a nine-hole golf course. The resort and golf course are long gone, and the area has returned to its natural state. The owners now operate prolific, soundproof recording studios on the premises. Music lovers are welcome to tour the studios during their stay.

So why wait? Book now and discover the untapped beauty of the Poconos. Your next adventure awaits!

Tunnel Advisory:

Please know that traveling south from Tannersville on Cherry Lane Road leads to a small railroad tunnel with a 10’ 8” clearance just before the property. It is advised to take Route 715 S to Route 191 S from Tannersville and ultimately turn right on Cherry Lane Road from the southern end. The tunnel will not be a problem this way.

Walk among legends of Fly Fishing's current Heros and those who have passed on. The displays are educational and inspirational. When visiting you never know who you may run into it's quite possible you will meet someone who's work is displayed there in person. They have a tendency to visit the museum and chat with those visiting. Make sure to visit the museums website and provide a donation of your choice to ensure Pennsylvania's fly fishing history is available for generations to come .

Pennsylvania fly fishing history was news to me, so much of the sport, techniques, tied flies & and the science of it developed here in Pennsylvania with Penn State University. I wish they had a docent or knew when a class was taught.

I like fly fishing so I found this museum's exhibits interesting. It is a quiet self guided tour kind of place. Not many visitors when I visited. The building sits near the Letort creek.

The PA Flyfishing Museum is a must stop for any flyfisher. It's right off the turnpike at Carlisle and easy to find. There's some great history here with some excellent displays.

For (especially PA) fly fishers only. Excellent historical enclosed exhibit collection based primarily on famous local fly fishermen and authors. A little warm/stuffy in mid-summer. Not attended. Video monitored.
