Always enjoy our time here except when generators run ALL day and ALL NIGHT since the tent sites are primitive! No bathrooms, water, electric (except at RV sites) or wash stations for your bikes/ATV/side by side ! Besides that we love coming here
Had no showers and it didn’t state that. Also the guy checking out the area complained the whole time about what we did or if we are loud yet there were kids riding their bikes around the area alll day and we got told we can’t and apparently we were loud and Saturday the white people next to us were loud after 10pm and when going to sleep you heard them yet the guy never looked their way. He was only complaining to the other Spanish group in the area and us that were Spanish too. Very racist camp. Do your research you can stay at other camp site that’s 20 mins away with more stuff to do inside .
Loved it, perfect for an over night trip. No electric or water, but we were prepared. A single tent site was 20 dollars plus another 5 for a bundle of wood. Everyone was friendly. And you can ride from the site right to AOAA and ride.
I've camped at Trailhead campground about 7-8 times this year. Never had a bad experience! The owner, host and staff are really good people. The sites have limited hook ups, just electric, but they are clean, flat, have a fire ring and a picnic table.
If you go during the week the place is dead.
I've stayed in ATV/RV parks from Pennsylvania to Alaska, Trailhead campground is top notch!
One of the best Father's day weekends yet with my son! Awesome camping, great trails at aoaa, great service, friendly staff and other campers as well!
