County park with small boat launching availability. Small campground best suited for tents with facilities(nearby gun range may keep you from sleeping in). Has playground areas and picnic areas. Access to part of the Great Florida Birding Trail. Don’t feed the alligator signs present.
Nice quiet non urban park that might or not be your cup of tea.
Great local fishing spot with a series of connected lakes. You can usually find a nice quiet spot to fish and call it your own. If you enjoy camping, there is also a campground on these premises. There is also a tackle shop at the entrance for all your fishing needs.
It is a great place to just chill. Glad to see the police spend a little time here as well. I feel safe and we love putting our boat in to fish. Nice picnicking too.
The spaces at this park are not first come first serve, you have to take what space the manager wants to give you. The bathrooms have no soap an are filthy, dogs were barking for hours, the electric didn't work at our space, would not recommend.
