Very pretty park, clean, well kept grounds. Quiet. A large cohort of Owners and a small area for rental patrons. Rental sights do not have any outdoor table for the sight. Wi Fi is not site wide, only available at the Club House. Close to the Lake Okeechobee Lost Trail, grocery stores and restaurants.
This is a absolutely wonderful place! They went out of their way to accommodate us during hurricane Ian, and made sure that the clubhouse was open and available for everyone to come to in case of a emergency or any needs.
Welcomed us with open arms and a friendly smile!
Thank you for making this Colorado girl feel safe during the hurricane 💕
Went to rent a long stay 4/5 months over 9 grand and due to have kids they told me nope no kids long term I'm going to contact the owners of the company this is absolutely discrimination to children and the older Manger is losing you money I'll stay else where but your truly asking for a lawsuit! You can make the park 55+ but your website states welcomes all ages that's a lie! We have friends that was going to book we did change there minds rather quickly with a few words and no they don't have kids you guys lost 16 grand in 13 days congratulations on the aware of loosing the company money wouldn't recommended there are plenty around and okeechobee is honestly not a great town to be In for months so glad your ignorance has left me beach front in another resort
We were on the road with a few days to kill before our next reservation. We reserved a pull through for three nights, a little high priced but nice park. When we checked in we were given a realtor’s card and asked if we would like a tour, after seeing the park we said yes we spent 4 hours looking at developers lots and for sale by owner lots. There were a few both owner and developer we put on a short list to make offers on. The next day realtor called us and said since our rig was over fifteen years old we could only make offers on developers lots. What a freaking insult yes our 40 foot pusher is 15 years old but spotless. I wouldn’t buy a damn thing from this bunch. And I will let all of my class A friends know about this place.
We came to Silver Palms for just a weekend. Exploring the area. We were more than delighted with the condition of the park, the pool side restaurant and bar, a well maintained dog park and numerous other activities. After spending a week just outside of Ft Myers, Okeechobee was a welcome relief. Still all we needed in the way of services and within 10 minutes of the park. We should be back.
