Hickory Landing is located close to the Wright Lake Campground. It is rustic with vault toilets and trash bin. The water is a high sulfur content and you should fill at the Wright Lake Campground. You can also use the bath house at wright lake for a small fee. Unfortunatley, the Apachicola National Forest service does a poor job of maintaining and enforcing the site rules. There is supposed to be a $3.00 fee per night and 14 day maximum stay as per N.P. rules. This is not enforced as there are local homeless living there.

Absolutely love this quiet little spot. Didn't need to make a reservation. Just pulled up, paid a little drop box and found the perfect spot for the night. Very secluded with water near by. If you have a small boat this would be a perfect little spot for you. Outside shower and a toilet pit but very clean. Thank you for a perfect getaway from civilization.
