Set along the shores of Farles Lake, this recreation area is a launch point for outdoor adventures, including boating, birding, and fishing along the lake and prairie system.
South of SR 40 off SR 19. Look for signs on the right. Turn onto FR 22 and continue until you arrive at Farles Prairie

I ran 10 miles out to Juniper and 10 back the other day. The Farley’s Prairie portion of the trail was extremely well groomed with fresh Blaze along the way. Once outside of the FP trail, you hardly saw a Blaze.
It was dry and not very technical. Any level of trail runner can run this with ease.
It's a really nice lake to go to with the family. Nice cleaned out area to swim, grills to cook, and picnic tables. Bathroom right across the street. Really nice place to fish as well.
The swimming area is very clean with and the water is Crystal clear. It's so serene and peaceful. It only cost ,5 to spend the day. It's very much Worth the price . I'd definitely recommend this area for a good day of family fun in the forest
