From the bridge on the St. Johns River: go west on SR 40 for 1 mile to Alco Road. Go south on Alco Road (4 miles) to Astor Landing Campground & Marina.
Definitely a fish camp. Not much to do if you don't fish. No public bathhouse. The owners are friendly and they do a good job of keeping the park groomed.
Nice, but kind of small. Needs a kid area to play. Excellent view of the lake and boats.
We stayed for week last Jan and it was so nice.. Landing.. is a great name.. it's so close to so many things to do and see but once you hook up your RV the place wonderful.. Light you fire .. BBQ and enjoy the view..:))
Owners aren’t fond of people. Part of a direct quote he made. I thought he was kidding when I made reservation. HE WASN’T. We were there for 15 full days, all LED lights and still told we went over on electricity. Best everyone check your meter when you arrive.
Love this place !! Richard runs a great facility and cares what the park looks like. Very well maintained and beautiful views of the pond and river. The restrooms and everything in this park is cleaned and maintained daily. Can't wait to get back and relax.
