Will never move again. Both the owners, George and Sue and the Park managers David and Debbie are some of the nicest folks you could meet. tenants are very friendly and look out for you when your away. We have made some great friends here and Could not be more happy.
Some lots are very well kept, and others are not.Didnt see anything to do there if you don't have a boat. But for the area, it is one of the nicer places.
My sister inlaw lives here, nice and clean environment. Good people live here, mostly elderly people. I would definitely think about living here if I had an rv to set up.
This was our second time to Haines Creek, once four years ago and another for February and March of 2021. We had planned to stay in Kissimmee, had booked it months ahead, sent in a deposit, called to confirm before the 900+ mile drive, but when we got their they had given away our site and had no others large enough for our unit. After spending one night in Kissimmee at another RV park, hearing noise from the streets, overhead the people coming and going to work or play we were not to upset we weren't staying but where were we going to stay? So we called Sue and George at Haines Creek and they found us a spot for our two months stay. They are the new owners and are so nice, they even dog sat our puppy one day so we could go air boat riding with our children. The park is full of nice people, its a 55+ park with a boat ramp, laundry, showers and bathrooms. They have a rec hall with events and people get together for different celebrations. The park is greatly improved since our stay four years ago but the one thing that hasn't changed is how nice the people are. There is everything around there that you can think of, Walmart's, markets, restaurants, theaters, boat rentals, several big dog parks, including a small one at the RV park. I can't say enough about how nice it is to stay there and about how nice the new owners, Sue and George, are.
Came back for another weekend stay. Place is still super nice. Residents were helpful spotting me while backing in while dark and drizzly out. Nice RV park......... Stayed for a weekend softball tournament. Had a very nice time. Park is quiet and peaceful. Management was friendly, and the hookups are all there. You had better know how to back into a spot with the camper. Not a lot of pull through spots. Loads of trees and shade. Not a big open field. Stores nearby. Circle K right across from the site makes it very convenient. Will be back.
