About Campground

This little funky 1960’s-era resort is minutes off of interstate I-40. It’s a perfect place to get away and relax in your very own comfortable room, or your own RV space with full hookups or you can even pitch a tent right down by the Colorado River.

Families and groups of all ages are welcome to enjoy our picnic area under shade trees, charcoal grills, a fire pit and a blanket of stars at night all year ‘round.

A perfect location for snowbirds with warm winters and ideal for families to have fun in the sun and in the water all summer long.

You can enjoy the river with fishing, boating, wave running, swimming or just sitting out on one of our decks right over the river taking in the picturesque view of the famous Needles mountains and listening to the currents of the mighty Colorado River rush by.

We live on ‘river time’… so remember to stop, relax and put your feet in the water!

Pet friendly – so don’t forget to bring your favorite companion.

Great authentic Route 66 Motel.

A must if traveling Route 66 as it's right on the river for a swim.

Especially in summer.

Has a pool and spa.

Room just needs a little maintenance.

Otherwise nice spot.

Looks like they're in the middle of fixing up room near pool.

Shops close by.

We wanted to stay a Fender's RV Campground. The website indicates that the only way to book is to call. I did so. 4x in as many days. I left a voicemail "for this MagicJack customer" (generic phone service provider answering message) TWICE. I also reached out and messaged via Facebook, only receiving a generic response that also said "we'll get back to you soon" (they never did), and "please call" (btdt x 4). I loved the location of this campground, but if we cannot get anyone to answer the phone, we cannot stay there.

We booked here for a month hoping to stay at this campground for the winter, but had to leave early because several full timers were very disrespectful of their dogs and camp living conditions. No respect for others or noise rules. A lot of the facilities were in bad shape or run-down. The staff was great though. Very helpful. A great spot on the river as well.
