What a lovely experience! I loved the freedom to canoe where I wanted and to stop whenever we wanted. The sights were beautiful and they provide a map so you don't get lost! There was even a sandbar that had beautiful views and we got to enjoy swimming in the river and relaxing before continuing on!
I've rented canoes from Taylors Falls Canoe & Kayak 1-2x a year for about the last 8+ years. It such a beautiful area and the rentals are affordable and include everything you need. I'm so grateful to have this service and such a scenic, beautiful spot to enjoy it! I highly recommend this place!
Kayaks are very stable and the river is shallow and clear/clean! Very comfortable trip. Plan for extra time to stop on beaches and cool rivers flowing in and other fun things to stop and see/hang out!
Fantastic day on the River! They do all the heavy lifting, have the kayaks/canoes in the water ready when you get there and you leave them on the beach on the other side. Will absolutely do it again.
