Very nice campground.

Smaller campground which made it peaceful and quiet. I’m sure their no alcohol policy helps with that, which we were totally fine with.

There are a variety of site types and sizes. Shade, sun or riverside.

Owners are on site and very friendly and helpful. In fact, all the campers we came across were super friendly.

The big bonus is them also being a canoe livery since they are right on the river. They rent canoes, kayaks and tubes for a nice float. Or bring your own and they will shuttle you to a drop in site or pick you up down river.

Fairly remote location, but if you like quiet, country camping, this is your place.

We have been going to En Gedi for the past 3 summers. The owners have seen me not pregnant, pregnant, and this summer I will be introducing them to my baby! Crazy! They are amazing hosts. The campground is extremely clean. I feel so safe all the time. Theres activities all around the clock. They really know how to get there guests comfortable.

They hosted our church campout, river trip, potluck, and worship service in August of '23. They did a great job, served us well, worked with us to accommodate changes, and provided us with a great weekend. We were so pleased with them.

Stayed a few nights here mid-week after picking up a new rig and before making the long drive back to D.C. Couldn't have picked a better spot to get in a few days of work! Camp owners were very hospitable and welcoming. We arrived just after 6pm where Shawna greeted us promptly, drove us to the site and even supplied us a jackpad. When we didn't have coffee in the morning (forgot to bring our own!) Shawna and David were gracious and offered us two fresh cups from their coffee pot at the store, free of charge. The grounds are clean, peaceful and quiet, which is exactly what we needed. Plenty to get into if you're looking for good recreation. They offer kayak rentals and are located on the river so it's a fantastic spot to play and explore off the beaten path. I don't know if we'll ever come through the area again but if we do, we wouldn't go anywhere else to camp. Thank you Shawna and David!

This campground is a hidden gem, along the St. Joe River. They offer cabin rentals, full hook up sites, & river front sites. The bathrooms are nice & clean. There is a nice little store with a yummy ice cream selection (I may have went a couple times lol). They offer kayak rental & transportation for day trips too.

When we camped, we had a river front site with only electric - totally worth it for the peaceful views we had! The slope into the river is very gradual & the river is not super deep - totally kid friendly!

There is a nice beach area too, so everyone has access to the water, if you don’t camp right on the river.

We were here for a weekend & had a blast exploring & finding all kinds of treasures (plants, fish, bugs, rocks, shells).

For the kids, there is a playground, Gaga ball pit, ping pong tables, & other assorted items (on Sat, there was a bounce house up).

The only downside for us was that the campground is all sand/dirt - everything will get filthy & then some.

One more note - Google likes to take you down lots of dirt & gravel roads to get here. You will save time by picking the route that has the most “main roads” to it…

We really enjoyed our time here & will be back.
