To be 100% transparent my first impression upon arrival was ok were only here 4 days, we have power, sewer, and water as well as river access for kayaks and fishing.....It'll work this time. However after meeting Jason who is super friendly and attentive, seeing upgrades in progress on Saturday and Sunday as well as hearing about future upgrades we will definitely be back and intent to make this one of our regular goto's. Prices are very reasonable.

Hope to return soon. Thanks Jason

Such a wonderful place! So peaceful, we enjoyed kayaking, floating and fishing the River which is in walking distance of the camp sites. This place is perfect for a weekend getaway! The owner Jason is absolutely amazing and there to help in any way he possibly can. We will be coming back!

We are grateful that Jason was able to accommodate our last minute need for a campsite for we lost Floridians. We had a Motorhome and dingy and were able to secure the last pull-through site available. Thanks! Be sure to pack food and other necessities as the consumer options are limited. This campground is two-miles off Rte. 79 and easily accessible from Rte. 4. We enjoyed our 1 night stay and would return if the need arises. Rates are very reasonable 😃 Our neighbors were very friendly!

Elk River Get-A-Way

Great section of the Elk River to float with a variety of opportunities to observe nature's wildlife and easy flatwater paddling. Steven was courteous and knowledgeable and his watercraft were up to date and sanitized. It was easy to launch and even easier to end at his floating pontoon docks. Great idea ! Licensed, bonded, insured, CPR trained and pet friendly; portolets at start and finish. New to this season is overnight primitive camping for multi-day adventures plus hiking trails and other optional group events

Spent the night on short notice. Jason was quick to return our phone call, payment was easy through the CashAp. Beautiful tent sites right on the river and plenty of wood with fire rings provided. Highly recommend.
