This is a primitive camping spot. There are no restrooms and the water source is a small hike away!
Great trip. Staff was available when we checked in. Very short portage to get boat in water. The water was clear and clean. The canoes were in great shape. The river had lots of stops at springs and plenty of places for photo opportunities. Wide and calm so great for family's or larger groups. Reasonable prices for renting. I would stage a vehicle at the end to avoid waiting for shuttle or arrange for your own ride to speed up the process the staff at the end to receive the canoes made it easy. Would definitely go again.
Beautiful clear water springs all along the float, highly recommend. Water feels so much better than the ocean in august!
The river trail and pools were amazing. Our experience with staff wasn't the best. Parking is awful. The directions given for pick up were incorrect. They don't tell you to bring shoes which is a must to reach the springs. The springs have no signage from the river so you would miss them easily.
This place was amazing. The staff was super chill and laid out where all the springs were, what to expect, how to get picked up and the time it takes from launch to the end. All the reviews who say otherwise probably didn’t pay attention or don’t have common sense. There’s literally a white board with everything you need to know directly behind the counter, if you didn’t get told by mouth from their employees, READ. it’s that simple. This place was beautiful and we stopped at all 5 springs. Super fair price and already have friends planning to come here after seeing my Snapchat stories. Will always recommend you guys. MAKE SURE YOU BRING GOGGLES. LOTS OF ROPE SWINGS along the way.
Our first trip here and we are going back tomorrow!!!!! What a freaking blast!!!! To be continued… definitely recommend coming here and the staff is amazing Miss Amy at the front desk with her furr babies is the sweetest!!! The crew that brings you back rocks !!!
