This has the potential to be a nice campground. Good little lake, lots of acreage. Mostly seasonal RV "camps", and we saw electric and water service nailed to living trees, beer cans left in fire pits, broken picnic tables, etc. Not pristine, but does have promise, with a little TLC. We did see some new picnic tables being prepped, so there's work being done by new management. Firewood at a reasonable price would be a plus.
Not a family friendly campground for vacationers. As other reviewers have said this campground has potential. It seems to cater mostly to RVs that are parked seasonally or year round. Some of the units had decks and other permanent fixtures. The bathrooms were clean. This was a plus. The lake was nice, however, the swimming areas were small. The campground seems to have a large lakefront area but it's taken up by the seasonal tenants docks and boats. There were no areas for fishing or walking alond the lake. The place could use a playground.
We've been coming since i got married in 2003.. Now my husband and I bring our kids and we always camp in the exact same site :) I'm actually here now as I'm posting this. Always a great time and everyone is friendly . The Owners are great and very accommodating.
We are the first time campers at Echo Lake campground. We visited on July 4th Weekend. The Camping sites are very huge and we parked our car nicely. Fire pits are pretty old fashioned and there are also picnic tables allotted to each camping site.
Everyone at the campground is super friendly and trustworthy. it's great! Everyone in the office is so nice and always smiling it's an all around happy environment! Anytime we have had issues and report it to the office they respond immediately and the issue is resolved quickly and professionally. I love this campground and we recommend it to everyone we meet :-)
Been seasonal here since I was a kid. I’m my twenty now. This is where I grew up and developed my love for the outdoors. Would like to see some updates but the lake keeps my family coming back
