This is a nice little campground that is popular with people getting in and out of the river to float, canoe, or kayak. It is a good spot to access the river-access campsites as well where you float into the camp. First come, first served on this section of the river. No need to get a permit.
Great, FREE campsites!! On the river, too, makes for good tubing. Downside: no electricity.
Great little campsite! We found a perfect spot by the river and had a great night. No electricity at the site and running water wasn't on as of May 5th. Overall can't complain about a free campsite!
Free, drinking water, and waterfront. Crazy amounts of tubers if the temperature rises.
Great place to camp, primitive campsites with porta potty. Campsites include firepit with grate and picnic tables.
First off I’m from here!!!! Grew up in earl Wisconsin!!! My grandparents lived right down the road from here. These woods are one of a kind!!! True woods with Jack pine!!!! Even though I no longer live here…I still come here and now camp here. This land is scared to me as my parents and grandparents whom are all deceased spirits resides here!!!! These are the very woods my grandfather taught me how to want and fish!!!! I love this park as I have so many memories here from growing u as a kid and teen. To many to count. I continue to make memories here now as I bring my wife here so she too can enjoy these last true Northwoods we have left!!!!!!
