Great experience! Check-in was efficient. The grounds were well kept. Firewood was reasonably priced. The campground was extremely clean and quiet for the number of RV campers there. There was a nice laundry area and the bathrooms were very clean. The location made it easy to walk to restaurants, historical sites, and Lake Pepin.
We planned this campground as a stopping point on our bike tour down the Mississippi because the website said there was tent camping available. When we arrived after a full day of riding we were informed they do not have tent camping and they haven't had access to their website in 5 years. That in itself wasn't a problem but they were flat rude, as if it was our fault their website was incorrect. Get your website updated - it's not that hard!
We had a rental RV; totally rookies at this camping RV experience. The people (owners?) at Lake Pepin campground couldn’t have been more helpful to us on our first night on the road. We didn’t have an extension cord to plug into electric; they lent us one. Offered any other help we may need. Nice grounds; lots of friendly, seasonal campers. Cute town. Campgrounds were quiet at night.
Nice well run seasonal campground for trailers in a quaint river town. Friendly neighbors and the town has all ammenities one would need. Including a marina on lake Pepin.
Fun times. Great people! Bob the maintenance / campground man friendliest and most helpful man you will ever meet.
