County Road O Landing Dispersed River Camp — Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway

Nice quiet just bring lots and lots of deet

I was unable to camp here because one big group had the whole place

Directions took a wrong turn but it was a pretty place once we got there.

I've been going to this place since 1980, when my hubby and I got out of the Army. We were here so often in summer that we practically raised our 4 children on the river. I never loved a place more, although it was more enjoyable when it was almost a wilderness, it is geared toward tourism and is enjoyed by many all season long. We have so many great memories there.

Beautiful landing area to get into the St Croix River. Nice grassy area to pitch a tent, parking for about 6-7 cars. Couple of hiking trails and bathrooms!

**The end of the drive up landing area had a decent dip, approx 9+ inches due to the lower water levels
