This a very nice quiet campground. Nice playground for kids an it's very pet friendly.

Very clean and quiet. Some boat traffic but not too bad. Very family friendly.

Checking into the Veterans Park in Cameron Wisconsin. When paying the entry fee for camping, an old lady visited the host and was listening to the conversation. The host asked if I wanted to use the dump it would cost an extra 5 dollars. Being it was only 2 days, I said no. The visitor made a comment interjection that I just wasn't going to pay the extra fee and use the dump anyway. Pretty presumptuous of her to make such a comment not knowing me or my previous service. My intention was to use the dump at the next campground. She must have figured it was her business to keep the host abreast of the shysters entering our parks and taking advantage of the state and systems set up for us Veterans.

This was a neat little park to visit. It offers easy walking down to the lake, a villa for renting, campsites all nestled among the trees. Place is clean and well kept.

A hidden gem among Wisconsin's County parks. The on-site caretakers were friendly and helpful. One gripe regards the eye-stabbing nightlight on the shower building. In the interest of aesthetics and dark skies, a downward directed, low power light would serve the purpose.
