From Hwy 70/48/87: Go 7 blocks N, then 1 block W on Main St.
Nice campground with creek pond dam and waterfall. Walking distance to the brew pub, cafe and coffee shop. Check with the city for availability. A lot of the spaces are taken by seasonal campers.
The facilities are clean and well kept. The camp ground is surrounded by a curve in the river; on a quiet night, you can hear water rolling over the memory lake dam. BUT, we reserved a camping site a full year ago-paid half the price when we made it...They did not give us the site we paid for. We were parked a distance from the rest of our group, and the site we should have had went unused this weekend. I love the place. I am not happy with the management.
We have been coming here since 1987 once or twice a year. Love the area and campground is always neat. No Wifi though.
