It’s a nice place to go walking and throw rocks into a river

It's usually pretty quiet when I've been here. The evenings are amazing. There are some times of the year or based on temp or rainfall etc when it might smell a bit, but I haven't had too much trouble with it. It's a nice place really close by to get a quick feeling of being away from it all which is nice especially when you don't have much time to try to get away.

I am surprised at how much is fit behind the expectation of this little park! It seems simple but there is the obvious park area that has nice grass and a pavilion with benches, and then there are camp grounds, mountain bike trails, a frisbee golf course, fishing (I think), as well as walking trails and I've seen people riding razors and atvs around! Some areas through the river are deep enough for swimming and other areas are shallow enough for some fun off-roading!

We have brought our dog here multiple times and he loves it. There are often a handful of dogs that we see when we go.

The road that goes along the camp sites is very accessible to all vehicles. We even took our Honda civic into the river in a shallow area for fun, but nothing crazy! Haha
