We stayed at Double Islands for 2 weeks in Nov. 2021. The development itself was lovely. The site was well maintained. The view was amazing. Folks were friendly and helpful. Keith, the owner, responds very quickly to texts and calls, but be mindful that he is on California time. He does have someone onsite to oversee. The only downside is getting there. Lots of winding, backroads, but the trip is definitely worth it. Not a lot of amenities real close- just be prepared and you will be fine. We will stay again. This time of year is less crowded and we prefer that. Sunsets are breathtaking. We have a 38 ft motorhome
Stayed at camp A and was enjoyable and peaceful!
Full hook ups and shady area to sit and relax by the river
Easy access with steps down to the beach area and was a good fishing, swimming area!
Only downside We had is the winding Linden Hwy is buckled in places on the road and have to be very careful hauling your RV to the gated area and the boat Launch is not bad but stay to the left so you stay in deep enough water to go out a pretty good ways idoling to the mouth of the river with beautiful views
I highly recommend it and Keith is easy to deal with and responds quickly with any questions!
5 stars for waterfront lots with full hook ups. We stayed 2 nights in “camp c”. This one is closest to the stairs leading down to a small beach area. It’s not big, but it is sandy. Owner was easy to work with and communication was prompt. Thanks Keith! We plan to be back when we can stay longer!
We have had a wonderful 2 month stay here. Great view to wake up to every morning plus gorgeous sunsets over the Tennesse River. Loved the stairs down to the river. Keith was great to work with. We are having a place built near here so we could keep track of the build.
Beautiful spot right on the river. Easy access to the water. Owners are very accommodating. No cellular service on T-Mobile and Verizon has very limited service.
