The food was great and recommend restaurant for good eating..

Horrible part our first waitress had a very dry sense of humor and was not amuse for her comments. She did not offer to refill our drinks.

So, I would call another waitress to serve us and she was happy to assist us. If you like dry sense of humor for a waitress she the one.

Very sweet spot!

Great area for camping, a ramp to put into the water, and a great spot for some classic southern-fried cooking.

Literally only 4 stars because the coffee was less than quality, but everything else was excellent. Incredibly sweet and personable staff. The food is well above what you'd expect, with a burger that beats big chains, and great grilled shrimp. Simple salad bar but well stocked. Definitely plan to come back.

Just wish the coffee was a little higher quality :)

If your family is anything like mine, you will make the best of any place, at any time...and that's what we did. The place needs some major renovations, but Carol and her crew have been working hard to get it to where it is. The majority of this campground is residential, meaning most people reside here.

They only have 50-amp service, so make sure you bring your own 50-amp to 30-amp adaptor, if you need one! Also, make sure if you have multiple campers in your crew, you are placed beside each other and not spread out, through the campground. There are not many spots in this little campground that are available, for rent, due to the permanent residents. With all this being said, the folks living here did seem friendly and the views of the water were gorgeous!
