We can not say enough about this place. We were stranded for 2 weeks when the transmission on our truck went. The staff helped us in so many ways. The kindest of everyone will never be forgotten. Our 3 week family road trip turned into 5 1/2 weeks but we found new friends and a place we will definitely visit again.

This is a convenient stop at an affordable price (cash or check only) they do not accept credit cards. The owner is friendly and helpful. Our spot was pull through, level and had plenty of shade. The park is clean and there is a large field / playground. There are a lot of full timers at this park but their spaces are clean and well maintained. We didn’t visit the bathrooms or showers. We had a nice time and will visit again.

We stopped here for one night on our way to northern IL. For the price (cash only), you can’t beat having full hookups (water, sewer and electricity). The owner was super friendly and led us right to our pull through spot. You’re close to your neighbors, and some long term people have cluttered spots, but we were only there for a night so not a big deal. Nice big open area with some playground equipment for kids/running around. We have our own bathroom/shower so I can’t speak for how their restrooms are. Highly recommend for a quick overnight stop since it’s right off the interstate.
