Gently nestled in the “bend” of the Barren River lined with hundreds of “beech” trees is where the name Beech Bend was derived and began entertaining guests as a picnic area dating back to the late 1800’s.. Beech Bend’s Campground offers over 400 camping sites! 250 of the sites offer full hookups with 30amp electric service.
The “Wooded” area of approximately 14 acres offers grass camping and ample shade in the summer. This area is open for Tent and RV Camping but full hookups are limited.
From jct US 412/Hwy 20 & Hwy 100: Go 1-1/2 mi S on Hwy 100.

Beautiful day to fish and listen to the birds sing. They have really done a good job at the boat ramp on the other side.
We LOVE it. They have paved roads so the littles enjoyed riding bikes and roller skating. They have play grounds and basketball courts. They have a few clean bathrooms close by with hot showers. Also, the store is right up the road if needed. You will not get much phone reception. That's kinda the point tho. Happy camping❤
