We always have a great time when we stay at Anderson county Park. It is a quiet place, with friendly folks, good security and no problems. We rent the group site at least once a year for either a family camping trip or church camping trip and we always have a great time.

Nice place to camp for the price. Bathrooms need some updating, need to get some WiFi down there, roads need to be fixed, but overall we will be back. The man who manages the area is a super nice guy!

This place was amazing except you can't bring alcohol. If you like to tent they let you use their RV spots right by the lake which was awesome

Booked this trip for a birthday getaway for my 14 year old and let me tell you it was the best idea! The staff were extremely nice and made us feel so welcome! I enjoyed his company and he would always make his rounds and talk to all the campers each day! The people were great, we had a lovely couple from London Kentucky that would visit us and even shared some wood with us so of course I shared some Dutch oven peach cobbler. I would highly recommend and we will be visiting again! The atmosphere just makes you feel at home and welcomed!
