Great campground for both trailer campers or tent campers. Flush toilets on site.

This rating was hard because the sites were pretty good, but the camp host was interesting. We got there & saw the sign that said pay the host. The check-in process was almost non-existent. We were lucky we chose the site we did because the other ones were reserved without having a sign posted.

The biggest issue I have with the camp host, was that his dog was never on a leash and ran around the campsite with no supervision. I saw the dog jump into a campers tent!

Please keep in mind that I'm a dog lover and have two friendly examples of them.... and they were on leashes the entire time.

Please fix this for people with dog fears and dogs that may not enjoy being sprinted at.

Again the sites were on the higher end... the hosts need to care more.

It's nice. The camp hosts are nice and I had no issues with them about my furkids. (Which make or break my reviews) It's little busy, but we got a spot without reservations. It was the last spot. Number 6 is right across from the bathrooms. I liked the convenience. Bring your boat and fishing gear/licences. It's easy to go for an hour or so walk here. There are trails or you can walk to the water. I didn't make it to the other end of the lake. I'm guessing that's where the boats are launched. There's marsh nearby the campgrounds but we didn't have big bug issues. We did see a flock of geese and other wild birds. Deer approached our site twice. There's lots of people. Cars/trucks driving in and out of the campgrounds constantly, but it wasn't much of an issue. Only used my jacket a couple times, when I walked my furkids in the middle of the night. It was more on the warm side, we used our air conditioning in the RV twice. We've been here 5 days, we stayed longer then we planned. Like I said it's been a nice stay. There's a lodge, restaurant and store close by, we suggest you bring what you need and don't rely on the store, they didn't even have dog food. There's a place to dump and get water for your RV and a dumpster no additional costs. Cost... 15.00 a day for a spot but with a forest service senior access card it's 7.50 a day. We also were right next to an outside water faucet. The hosts have been hosting here 5 years for 6 months out of the year so you should expect the same service when you come. I didn't have allergies there either. We made it too the store before leaving, they sell beer but not in the restaurant area and there's a sign about no alcohol. We were expecting a part from Napa, general delivery (a bracket wasn't in the box) We didn't get it. The girls in the store promised to forward it to our home, we got it. We had to leave instead of waiting longer because after 5 days we ran out of dog food and with the store not having any, we couldn't stay. One of the girls at the store was kind enough to offer her dogs food but we have 3 large dogs so it wouldn't even have been enough for 1 more day, but she was really kind too offer. I couldn't go swimming at the lake walking from the campground the water at that end of the lake was too shallow. Maybe it's better at the other end of the lake.

Great campsite and beautiful views. You can fill your RV fresh water at a few places. Just hook up your hose. There's also a sewer dump station and water fill up station at the entrance for $10. Otherwise, no hookups at each site. Most sites are RV accessible. All sites have picnic tables and fire pits. Bring wasp and hornet spray. Several bike and hiking paths. Multiple side by side ATV trails, too.

Also, camp host told us this campsite will be closed next year for upgrades...
