Campsite: Station Creek Camp

We had a great stay here. The hosts are amazing. They have a dog and are dog lovers. They seemed to be working hard to make our stay nice. There was plenty of room to walk around on our site. I'd swear they were cleaning a clean restroom in the morning. And made sure our stay was a comfortable one. They made our stay seem more like staying with family and said hello using my name several times.

Campsite: Pleasant Creek Campground

It's nice here. A small creek runs behind our camp spot. It's clean. Lots of trees and shade. Picnic tables, bathroom, fire pit, a dumpster and it's a small campground. We have the whole place to ourselves. It rained right after we got here and we have no mud issues. (We have 3 large dogs, the pine needles cover the grounds keeping our dogs paws clean.) No camp host.. Close to the Hwy, easy to get too. The handicap spot is very nice. One spot has built in benches around the fire pit.

Campsite: Henrieville Creek - Grand Staircase Nat Mon

Honestly I can't speak for the visitors center. We broke down by the fire department, he heard the dogs bark when he came and checked on us. It was very hot outside, it was nice to be cared about. He could have ignored us. But nope the guy working at the fire department even brought our furkids some water since we were needing water, we had a water pump go out. That extraordinary amount of caring and attention will have us stopping in that little town again when we pass through in the future. I'd rather spend my money there then where no one really cares about me. A big thanks for hiring good people in this little town.

Campsite: Fishlake National Forest Doctor Creek Campground

It's nice. The camp hosts are nice and I had no issues with them about my furkids. (Which make or break my reviews) It's little busy, but we got a spot without reservations. It was the last spot. Number 6 is right across from the bathrooms. I liked the convenience. Bring your boat and fishing gear/licences. It's easy to go for an hour or so walk here. There are trails or you can walk to the water. I didn't make it to the other end of the lake. I'm guessing that's where the boats are launched. There's marsh nearby the campgrounds but we didn't have big bug issues. We did see a flock of geese and other wild birds. Deer approached our site twice. There's lots of people. Cars/trucks driving in and out of the campgrounds constantly, but it wasn't much of an issue. Only used my jacket a couple times, when I walked my furkids in the middle of the night. It was more on the warm side, we used our air conditioning in the RV twice. We've been here 5 days, we stayed longer then we planned. Like I said it's been a nice stay. There's a lodge, restaurant and store close by, we suggest you bring what you need and don't rely on the store, they didn't even have dog food. There's a place to dump and get water for your RV and a dumpster no additional costs. Cost... 15.00 a day for a spot but with a forest service senior access card it's 7.50 a day. We also were right next to an outside water faucet. The hosts have been hosting here 5 years for 6 months out of the year so you should expect the same service when you come. I didn't have allergies there either. We made it too the store before leaving, they sell beer but not in the restaurant area and there's a sign about no alcohol. We were expecting a part from Napa, general delivery (a bracket wasn't in the box) We didn't get it. The girls in the store promised to forward it to our home, we got it. We had to leave instead of waiting longer because after 5 days we ran out of dog food and with the store not having any, we couldn't stay. One of the girls at the store was kind enough to offer her dogs food but we have 3 large dogs so it wouldn't even have been enough for 1 more day, but she was really kind too offer. I couldn't go swimming at the lake walking from the campground the water at that end of the lake was too shallow. Maybe it's better at the other end of the lake.
