This is a very nice place to stay. The only drawbacks are that the cabin we stayed in had 3 more rooms in it. The walls are very thin. We could hear everything that our neighbors said. At least they quieted done around 10. It is a very basic room, which was fine for us. We didn't spend a lot of time in it. The bed was very comfortable.
Staying at Heart 6 Ranch was a terrible experience. The room was filthy with mouse droppings in the dresser. The bathroom was dirty and the hot water didn’t work in the shower. A drunk man entered our room with a key! Stayed one night and asked for a refund for the other 6 nights which was refused. The man at the registration desk was rude and aggressive. When I asked to see the manager, I was greeted with rudeness and aggression again while he was wearing a holstered gun. I left. I then contacted my credit card company to dispute the $1400 charges. My stay was September 27 and on January 6 I was notified that my $1400 was back in my pocket! Thank you Visa! I would never recommend a stay at Heart 6 ranch.
We only did the snowmobiling. But what a great experience, Denver was our guide. He was a wealth of knowledge about the area, the trail and mountain. They had a shuttle service that picked us up and returned us to our hotel. Another plus for us was they supplied all gear!!!!! Denver was great to stop for photos. We made reservations thru a third party so we had to add insurance before we rode. However you are issued great gear and 2021 rides. Your ride will take you the top of the continental divide. It’s a big open meadow where you can go full throttle and the full experience of the snowmobile.
We walked into our room and it was about 90 degrees. Lowered the thermostat and opened the door and window so it could cool down. Next, into the bathroom and there was no shower curtain. I went to the desk and asked, she apologized and would take care of it. I offered to install the shower curtain to help out. After dog sledding [our host was Taylor] experience - which was nice and informative but we didn't expect to turn circles in a field, we headed back for hot cocoa. An employee who wasn't very friendly and seemed put out, served us luke-warm drinks. So we decided to have dinner elsewhere. The next morning we planned to shower, check out and try to catch a sunrise at the Grand Tetons. The shower knob was broken so my wife, daughter and I were unable to shower. I called the ranch multiple times, finally spoke with Thomas who said my request for a billing adjustment would be sent to "corporate". After four additional calls to Thomas [none of which were ever returned] I quit. So, I can honestly say our stay was most underwhelming and, not only would I not visit again but anyone who asks I would say it's a one-star place at best.
My now fiancé booked a private snowmobile tour for a surprise engagement. Despite the extreme winter weather that morning, Heart Six Ranch truly delivered to help pull it off. They took us to a remote trail with beautiful views of the trees and snow, and even allowed a personal photographer in disguise of a photographer for their website to join and capture this special moment. Thomas was an incredible guide and took us out to Brooks Lake Lodge for lunch to celebrate. After our time with Thomas, I felt like I had known him forever and consider him a dear friend. Thomas, you are amazing and I hope we cross paths again someday!
Heart Six Ranch, THANK YOU for such a beautiful, memorable experience!! I will never forget this day!!!
