Super great place to camp lots of history there places to walk you could have a family picnic in the shelter camp there are plenty of campsites it's out in the country so it's rarely loud and noisy once in a while you'll hear a train but that's kind of cool. Definitely a good place that we will continue to visit and enjoy
This 4th of July weekend was our very first trip down to Ayr. It is a great place to camp. We will definitely be going back and enjoying the our side. It is very peaceful and quiet. Lots of shade trees. During the night you can hear the crickets and the other nature sounds. Great place to go with great history story's about it.
Nice little camp ground. They are going to be doing some work on the lake should make it even better.
Went there to do a little fishing and found out that they had drained the lake and did some work to it some years back so the fishing experience wasn't the greatest but was a very nice area out of the way and would be great for a family camping experience
