This is a good, but not great campsite. They have walk up spots, but they get gobbled up fast. They also have good reservable spots as well. There is a lot of wetlands near the camp sites, so bugs can be a problem. The spots can be difficult to back into if the campsite is crowded, also there is no specific fishing access to the water from the campsites. There is some shore fishing by the boat ramp and a nice swimming area. The boat ramp can be very challenging in windy conditions, trailer down to Buckshot bay in the wind. However, the bathroom/shower unit (x4) are very nice, 5 star for sure. The cleaning station near the boat ramp is also excellent!
We have been going to the same campground for about 10 years and its always wonderful. The sand beach around the lake is a nice change of pace. There is a tanking and tubing place close by and if you forget anything your not for from town.
