Loved it. Plenty of things for the kids to play on. There was new and older equipment. We enjoyed the seesaws since not many parks have those anymore. There are two lakes, paths to walk on, a museum that's open in the summer, and a swimming pool. Can't wait for everything to start blooming. Will definitely be a more beautiful place in a few months.

Have you ever felt sadness, love, appreciation and even faded glory in one go? Check out the arboretum. Frankly even amazement would be appropriate.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the abhorrent way the many memorials are maintained. Some need replaced and most need to be cleaned. If I had the supplies, I feel as a quiet observer, it would have been my duty to honor those it was dedicated for, by cleaning the many plaques and memorials.

We honor our ancestors by living and doing good with what they sacrificed for. We can at least clean the posts. This, in addition to nurturing their gifts, is what we can do to thank them.

With this, I thank Gilman Park arboretum for this impressive display. Thank you for letting us visit those who are now no longer to visit a creation in those dedicated to them. Thank you.
