From east jct US 281 & US 6/34: Go 1/2 mi W on US 6/34, then 1/4 mi N on S Baltimore Ave.
The gravel was too thick for me to push my walker through. Otherwise, the cotton candy and funnel cake were awesome! My granddaughter enjoyed her homemade ice cream cone also.
It was nice to see the fair bounce back from being closed last year due to the pandemic. Lots of planning went into it, there was sanitize stations at multiple locations and it was a great open-air event. I did not feel scared at all that I would get covid there. Concession workers were wearing masks and were respectful.
The Fairgrounds are in use during the year for more than just the fair . The staff is AMAZING at handling the big events and works very hard to make it look so easy . Visitors are number one to them and it shows .Amazing job with this year's koolaid days and Oregon Trail Rodeo !!
We came to Hastings for the Neal McCoy concert and it was awesome! Great space for concerts. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food truck options were very good.

Restrooms are clean
Limited on food options
There are plenty of trees to relax under
Pavilion has ac to get out of the heat
And look at all the wonderful exhibits on display
I didn't go to the carnival area.
The rodeo and dog show were awesome
Seeing the kids perform their hearts out was a pleasure to see
