My husband and I lived here for almost a year and it was wonderful. The office lady ( I cannot remember her name for the life of me) was so sweet and customer service oriented.
After we moved out a package was accidently sent there by a family member. Not the RV park's fault whatsoever, I get that. But I did call to inquire to see if it could be sent back with the postmaster and returned to the sender.
The new office manager, Angela, was seemingly willing to help the first time I called. She signed for the package in question so I know it was in fact delivered. My Aunt got the notification as she requested a signature and Amazon reported to her that Angela was the one who signed for it, they documented this by name.
Angela said she would call me when she was able to figure out how to get it back to my Aunt, which I do appreciate. She took down my phone number. After not hearing anything for a week I called to check on this.
She acted as though she had no idea what I was talking about and nothing was on the table with my name on it. She was fumbling over her words when I asked about their procedures for sending items back. Her story kept changing and I got frustrated.
I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I told her if she was the manager she needed to figure out her customer service skills because how she was acting was not ok. She was rude, abrasive, and dismissive. The package never got back to my Aunt. It was a gift card. I'll leave it at that.
I wouldn't trust the people that work here again. I hope no one else gets taken advantage of for no good reason.
You can tell when Angela responds to reviews on here too. She is rude and accusatory. Super unprofessional!
Have lived here a little over a month. Yes there are issues with the laundry facilities but the new clubhouse and laundry facilities are about finished. This along with new pool and hot tub. The park is very very quite and a great place to live. Staff is friendly and helpful. You would be hard pressed to find a better value for the buck.
Update:
A lot has changed in the last 5 years. Pool, clubhouse, laundry room, dog park, propane purchase on site and now beautiful cabins for rent. The park still remains very quiet and professionally run. If you are here for business like I have been or just pleasure you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.
Nice amenities and good service. I will definitely stay there again if and when working in the area.
Management and owners I met are cordial and very professional. The two lady's who work in the office handle business and they care for the people who live in the resort. From my understanding, I know the management team and owners, who both care about the people who stay there and they definitely don't want any do everything to accommodate residents. I love these people and they are truly like family to me.
Management and owners have major issues wt addressing problems they may have with a resident or their guest. My granddaughter and I was that the park briefly. According to the owner they did not like the way she drove with the baby being in the front. He was in a car seat between the passenger and driver. But either way if he was or was not. it's still no rule broken for them to say she wasn't allowed on the property. Just ridiculous
