Cons: The store has barely anything in it and closes at 5 or 6 every day as well as from 12-1 every day. Everything is outdated. The fire pit is so close to the road that you can’t put chairs all the way around it which I’ve never seen at any other campground. Campground is right next to a very busy road so if you’re looking for a quiet trip don’t book anything up top near the playground and store. WiFi isn’t free which I’ve never seen at any other campground. I would have thought this campground would be a lot cheaper for what is offered. I’d say maybe $50 a night for full hook up rather than $75 with our 2 dogs.

Pros: River and trail to get down to it is very pretty. Very friendly staff. Overall we had a good time, but we wouldn’t come here again if it weren’t for my husband working so close.

Easily the best campground near me! The staff, location, the sites were all awesome! I will continue to come here as often as I can! We stayed in the primitive sites and they are nice and secluded! The sites are also giant, bigger than most that you traditionally get! Can’t say enough good things about them! Do yourself a favor and check this campground out!

Very nice campground staff was very nice dog friendly campground. Dog parks are pretty big. The store is a bit small with not a lot in it and the mini golf course is a bit outdated. Some of the tent sites are a little bit small for bigger tents. Easy to navigate your way.

Beautiful location! Just minutes from Downtown Newport. There is a playground for kids. A pool. They have a pond for those who would rather not use a pool. And the walk along the river to swim there as well!! It’s a very clean and mostly quiet area. They have bathrooms and showers ($.25 for shower) and laundry room on site as well!! I will definitely be returning as soon as possible!!!!

Wow! Perfect camping spot right on the river!!! It was so peaceful sitting by the campfire, listening to the water flow by. Most relaxing time Ive had in a while. The owners are great folks and dog friendly. Nice areas to walk your best friend and even an off leash dog area with tennis balls for a bit of exercise. Nearby hiking/biking rail trail with two covered bridges to check out, a waterfall not far from the property, nearby golf course and plenty of good places for a bite to eat and dessert of course too. If you are into camping, non-resort style, this place is amazing!
