About Campground

Spacious Skies French Pond Campground is a family-friendly campground located in beautiful southern New Hampshire, 5 miles north of Pat’s Peak.

We offer both wooded and open sites that can accommodate any size trailer. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, water, 20/30 or 50-amp electrical service, and sewer. Groups and tent campers are welcome.

Our campground is nestled deep in the forest, right on French Pond. Beach access offers swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, and fishing. We also have a salt-water pool for additional cooling off, and we can heat it too. A pavilion is available for activities, dancing, and more. Our rec hall is a callback to pure campground nostalgia—come in for the classic camp atmosphere, complete with vintage player piano. ATVs are welcome for rides on local trails.

We are proud to announce our partnership with [Black Folks Camp Too]() and are now the first “unity blaze certified” collection of private campgrounds!

Being Unity Blaze Certified confirms that all 15 of our campgrounds and our team are committed to making sure all campers know “You are Invited and Welcomed” — the Unity Blaze motto. While Spacious Skies has always firmly held this belief, we wanted to go one step further in partnering with BFCT to make sure all campground staff completed the Unity Blaze training program.

Just got home from a 4 night camping trip for my birthday. The campground was perfect...large flat spots for my friends 5th wheel and surrounded by trees! Rented kayaks one day and was out for hours..it was so beautiful!!! Staff was helpful and so friendly. Very quiet and relaxing....the bird songs were amazing to just sit and listen to. Bathrooms were kept very clean and free hot showers were great! We will definitely be going back!!!!

Campground is neat and clean. Sites are good size but getting into some of them is a bit challenging. We couldn’t back into the one we reserved but the staff was more than accommodating and set us up in a better one. They are very nice and we highly recommend them and the campground.

Thanks for the great memories and See you next year.

So the campground is good for camping. Staff is great. My issue is Spacious skies as a company taking advantage of people who need winter camp spots. So they charge $350 more a month . $950 summer $1250 30amp and $1450 50amp for winter There aren’t any activity's going on in the winter. Facility's are closed. Then to top it off . You have to pay electric. So the company has to pay less for entertainment and pool maintenance but charge more, go figure. If the other campgrounds like the one across the street that charges $700 a month had openings we surly wouldn’t stay here. It’s a basic campground . Nothing makes it standout for that price range. If your only stay for a few days, weeks ect then you don’t need to worry about that pricing. I have called every campground that’s open for winter and they are all $350 - $750 less for a monthly extended stay! I understand that they are trying to do upgrades like build new facilities, cabins, etc. but I believe that should be paid for by profits the company as a whole makes not by the campers who are staying here for the winter. So the campers don’t reap the benefits financially from the repairs and the upgraded cabins and Repairs made, spacious skies is pocketing. The money for campers aren’t getting anything for it, except being charged more money to fund spaces skies projects.

Place was peaceful and quite! Not a lot of activities for the kids but they had a fun fishing. They have a playground which was good for smaller kids I know my age kids would've loved a basketball court.

They had a band and food truck come which was fun to listen to, I didn't get any food from the truck but it looked good! They have kayaks to rent which was a deal, 20 bucks for all day rental! Spot was a little tight to get into but a beautiful spot, big site and not close to the neighbors which helps with our anxious dog!

Overall the kids say 5 out of 5 and that says a lot for a teenager and preteen! We had a blast, will definitely be back!

Basic campground , waaaaay too expensive, especially for winter. $1200!! Price gouging. And that's with a membership! It is near Pat's Peak but the campers seem more long term than skiers, a bit sketch. Had my $90 Progressive Industries surge protector STOLEN the first day here! I took the RV out for propane, during the day, ran errands, gone a few hours, left all my hookups at site, and my truck, and came back it was GONE! Manager was nice enough, said he asked around but never heard back from him. Didn't offer to replace it or let me borrow one. Can't find them in stores, PO sent back one I ordered so I've been without one which has limited the heaters and heat strips usage. Been playing whack-a-mole with frozen pipes and tanks all month. My site, D2, is surrounded closely by trees at the driveway and a power line that touches my roof, so getting in and out of my site is a bit challenging. Roads are full of potholes, one lane wide and not a one-way so you're always running into oncoming vehicles. Uneven site, could never get level. So, I spent and lost a lot of money, and time with all the freezing due to lack of heaters. Not happy.

**TONE DEAF RESPONSE FROM OWNER.
