About Campground

The State of New Hampshire has a short stretch of coastline, but Hampton Beach offers everything that summer visitors love about the ocean in one vacation destination. In Hampton Beach, you will enjoy a pristine stretch of beach that was recently named one of four “Superstar” beaches in the United States, due to perfect water quality testing results for three consecutive years. In addition to the beach – which draws visitors from throughout New England and Eastern Canada – Hampton Beach features a boardwalk full of shops and arcades, a wide selection of restaurants, weekly fireworks, free concerts at The Seashell Stage, a calendar of annual events that includes everything from the Sand Sculpting Competition to the Seafood Festival, and the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. The “Casino” opened in 1899 and has been hosting national acts each summer since adding its Ballroom in 1927.

I looked at these reviews because we thought about going back this year and staying, but I guess nothing has changed. We went probably 2 times when the kids were teens and all they did was watch and yell at the kids for anything they did. The old man (owner?) probably dead by now, if the kids splashed in the pool he threw them out. I’m sure the family has taken over, but see it was passed on, must be the Genes. I only remember the son who seemed to be a halfway decent guy, told me to ignore his father. They also were not dog friendly at all and I’m sure that hasn’t changed.

Time to move on and find a more friendly campground this year, too bad.

I don't know why there are scores of 2 and 3 for the owners being "rude" as the owner was nice and very welcoming. She spoke to us as if we were friends she hadn't seen in a while and we felt right at home.

This campground which was very clean and very quiet. The pool was clean and the other campers, both seasonal and vacationing were friendly. The speed limit is very much enforced so you have to drive very slow which can be a little frustrating but it is for safety. If you just follow the rules, you will be fine.

I had a change in my Work schedule. I had paid for 3 days in advance. Not knowing my schedule would change. When I called. I was told because it was 27 days instead of 30 I would get 0 refund. That was a $243. Mistake on my part. They will not refund any money. Make sure you have a 30 day notice or they will keep your money.

Nice clean campground. Well maintained with very clean bathrooms and showers. Showers cost 25¢ for 3 minutes. Most of the sites are of reasonable size. But some of the tent sites are a little small with moss growing on them. There are porta potties available for tenters. There's a pool and swing set area.

Honestly have never seen a bad welcoming and customer services as this place!!

As soon as you say something the owner doesn’t like, they’ll find a way for you to be kicked out pretty quickly, without any refund. Refuse to add one extra people to a camping site and adds up many more charges to anything more you’d ask just to please her.

Supposed to be a quiet hidden place in the wood, but you hear the traffic all along.

Dogs not allowed, not kids friendly.

Clearly not recommended!

Prison looking like area. No vacations here.

Apparently not welcomed for any French or Quebec people?…

Clearly that lady owner is good at scaring people out just like the other bad reviews.
