Crockett Family Resort is nestled in the outskirts of Crockett, Tx, right on the waters of the beautiful Houston County Lake. Known for some of the best bass fishing in the state the resort offers 116 RV spots, and 32 different cabins to accommodate any guest's needs. We also have 2 clubhouses ready to host a variety of events. Some of the park amenities include lake swimming, heated pool, beach, basketball court, paddleboat rental, and a splash pad.
From jct Loop 304 & FM 229: Go 7 mi W on FM 229, then 2 mi N on Houston County Lake Rd (CR 2140).
Rooms are dated but clean and slept well on comfy beds. Grounds were great as was the party room that over looked the lake. Nice lake but water level is down like all Texas lakes.
They need their bungalows severely updated. While the beds are comfy, those wooden chairs are painful to sit in! Not all bungalows have tables or counter space in the kitchen. The shower water tanks need upgrading to handle groups of 8-10 people.
This place is awesome! It literally has everything! And the staff is amazing! We had a huge family reunion with lots of kids & it was perfect! The only thing I would request is thicker blankets or bring your own if it might get cold!
Great place to stay! The staff are very friendly. It has beautiful surroundings and all kinds of things to do. This is the place to be if you're in the area. Will definitely be back!
This place is truly a gem! I love how secluded it is! We had our family reunion here, and it was perfect! They had a variety of things to keep all the kids, and adults, entertained! Not one kid said they were bored the entire weekend! 🙌 The pool and splash pad were clean, the mini golf looks like it was just redone, and the playground was perfect! The office staff was kind and helpful anytime we needed anything. I will certainly bring my family back here in the future!
