*a boutique campground + RV Park near Whitney and Hillsboro TX, minutes from Lake Whitney and I-35. *
We stayed at Roameo early this summer before Karissa expanding the campground. We enjoyed that weekend!
Love the names: Oasis and Roameo - definitely romantic and peaceful place to getaway. Everyday we fell asleep to the singing of cicadas and woke up to the singing of birds. The view is extremely beautiful here. We enjoyed the sunrise directly from the dining area!

come back to Oasis especially with all expanded features!!
Stayed here over the holidays this an awesome place.
Peaceful calming and easy to reconnect to nature and for all you trailer campers as its close to the main road and has full hookups.
The Owner is also a great person who cares about your stay and feedback (Airbnb Superhost). We stayed in Roameo during a winter storm of 0f wind chills and we were nice and warm no worries just adds to the fun of winter camping and an excuse to sit in front of a fire all day.
10/10 Will be returning in the summer for sure.
Such a beautiful campground! Close enough to the road to be convenient without losing any of the peace and quiet. I felt safe here! Love all the lights and modern touches. Makes for great pictures and a magical experience! My dog loved it too :) Definitely will be back!
I had a great time. The host was very responsive to questions. The communal bathroom/shower was clean and pleasant to use. Be aware the platform campsites do not have a pre-built fire pit, so be sure to bring a shovel. The platform/deck made for such a nice sleeping experience, so I'd definitely recommend it. Close to Lake Whitney for day trips. I'll definitely be back.
Pros: price reasonable $41 night/ peaceful / owner responded promptly
Cons: difficult to find / our site was occupied had to contact owner by email/ bathroom NO TP or dry towels / site had ovuerhang of bush with spikes we had to cut it back to get out.
Everything is done online / email no one answers the phone just a message to tell you to go online.
