Fantastic campground and a great little site. The staff was fantastic the bathrooms and other facilities were super clean and up-to-date.
FYI, their rec. room is currently closed. Otherwise, fantastic! Would 100% go again.
We had a wonderful KOA experience. The owners are very helpful and friendly. She responded to my texts and helped me twice with arrival issues that were time and weather related. He came around asking in a very friendly way if he could do anything for anyone throughout the stay. The little store is open until 9 and has ice and great firewood. The campsites are a little tight, but they have pretty trees, gravel pads, and many are pull -thru. Some of the sites even have sewer hook up. The bathrooms are clean and even decorated. It is obvious the owners take pride in the campground and do everything possible to ensure campers have a great stay.
Rough around the edges.
Pros: Good strong internet. Easy hook-ups, convenient location, animal friendly, unique, and grounds are decently maintained. Staff is kind.
Cons: Staff is kind, but some are little gruff. Dogs barking is loud and continuous. A little tight pulling through. Road noise is louder.
I would stay again for a night or two, unlikely for a long-term stay. It has a super cute family owned feel.
I only stayed overnight, just crashed for a few hours of sleep, then hit the road in the morning.
Bathroom was really clean, and they had decent lighting and shower pressure.
My cabin wasn't swept real well, and they didn't get under the beds. No chair in the cabin to sit at the desk to write, so that was a bummer. But bright light image the cabin! Much better than the last KOA cabin I stayed at, the light was really dim- so I was glad not to have to use my phone to light up the cabin!
I walked the grounds a little and was impressed with the amount of tree cover they have. Nice!
The pool is on the smaller side but looks like it is a nice one during pool season.
I saw what looked like a large connect-4 game. Will have to come back with my kid for that.
Will stay again!
