Believe the negative reviews about the manager. They are true. She makes you feel like you’re bothering her when you walk in the office, you pass her outside and she turns her head. Never a hello or smile. Cameras around campground. They offer golf carts, concession Stand, and other things that aren’t actually there or aren’t open and there are ONLY 3 golf carts for rent. We had a big family get together and no one in our group will ever return. She turns off her cart lights driving around trying to catch people doing something wrong, turns them on after she gets by. Cabins were left cleaner than when we got there. We did not get “in trouble or fined” for anything because we follow rules. The feeling of being a burden and unwelcome is the main reason for not returning. The 5 MPH rule is a little overkill. They have radar…. Our car idles faster than that. 8-10 MPH seems more appropriate.

Huge shout out to Jennifer!! She was absolutely awesome! From the moment i met her, all the phone calls, every time i came to the office, she was polite, informative, patient, and kind. not just to me but to my whole family. the deluxe cabin was perfect! Having a fridge, microwave, a shower, and AC was a huge plus! only thing i would recommend is a jam for the front door to keep it open. my grandkids loved the family fun zone!! Do i wish it was closer to cabins?! Yes! lol. Thank you for a wonderful stay! we will be back!

Love the campground. Very clean and orderly. RV sites are fairly spacious - campers not on top of one another. Loved looking out over the lake and enjoying the breeze on hot summer days.

The problem is that I-65 is literally next to the campgrounds (we were across the lake and probably no further than 200 yards from the interstate and the traffic NEVER stops. Luckily, the a/c at night mostly drowned out noise. ) This was really the only drawback to this pretty campsite.

Where do I start...I have never been one to review but this place is ridiculous.

We have seen this campground for years. We clearly understood its right off I-65 so going into it, we knew it would be loud from the road but that was not our complaints. When you check-in, they have you complete a long and ridiculous electronic check-in, oh well right? Then ask if we have outside wood as they have a strict policy about outside wood due to the ash boarer. We always have left over wood from other campgrounds that have the same strict policy in the back of the truck so he says yes because we aren't aholes (yes we should of cleared it out but we forgot). Then the lady says they have to confiscate it BUT we can load it up at this trailer by the office and pick it back up when we leave. Then they tell you someone will "park" you at your site. We get to the site and it's not a terrible spot to get into by any means but the guy "helping" wants you to park your RV his way. Which, hey, no big deal right? But no, we have a slide-out on the left side that he kept wanting us to put Right over the water hookup box which is like 2 ft high. My husband has Never had an issue parking our RV, this guy got so irritated that he kept saying let me just park it to which we ignored. No one else is going to park our stuff. My husband parked our old 44ft Montana in a small seasonal spot with many obstacles with NO guidance and NO issues many times. Not sure why this guy thought we would have an issue with this spot.

Then as we go to start our fire I notice the wood we bought from them had very clear evidence of EAB marking on the wood. We had to dispose of ours for us to use what clearly looked like previous infected wood. Oh well, right? It was their wood. Our weekend continues, no problems until we leave. We pull up to grab our confiscated wood and it's gone. My husband walks up to the people outside and this lady comes up to us in a very rude manner, smirks and says "Oh, we cleaned up around here and threw your stuff away, oh well!" Turns around and walks away.

Nice service....never wasting my money here ever again. We've been to many places, strict or not and I have NEVER said I didn't want to come back.

I almost didn't stay because of reviews but any port in a storm. From first call the young lady was pleasant and very polite. I stayed 2 nights, paid for three as I wanted to check on at 10 or 11 am. They charge by the hour before 4pm so it's best to pay e days for 2 nights. Latest check-in I've seen in 30 years of rv use. That said, it is a beautiful campground. Late in season so I did not see any use of water toys etc. Has to be fun for kids in the summer. I was alongside interstate, pull thru site. Trucks did not bother me at all. Beautiful views.
