This park has different size spots for different price levels. I opted for the most expensive spot. While a very nice spot, I’m not 100% sure it’s worth the price, but I knew what I signed up for. There are 2 pools, 2 dog parks, and the roads are nicely paved. All of the staff I dealt with was very nice.
The park as a whole is nice, quiet, and mostly full time residents. Unlike many places though, the full time tenants haven’t trashed their sites, and they’re well kept.
The only negatives are as follows.
1. Very close to train that runs all day into the night. Easy to drown out but it’s there and you do hear it.
2. The road in front of the park is often a race track at night with loud obnoxious cars.
3. The resort may need to employ a different landscape crew. The company they use is not very attentive to detail and clean up which reflects poorly on the resort.
My wife and I have stayed in the Coyote Valley RV resort many times and it is one our favorite places to park. From the moment you enter into the park it is clean and very well maintained. We were greeted by several very nice and helpful park “rangers” the not only directed us to our spot but actually helped us back in and get situated.
We have stayed in both sides of the park and while the spots are larger in the “new” side there are advantages to being in the original side. The trees are more developed which does minimize the amount of Sun/Wind.
The bathrooms and laundry are very clean and well maintained. This is by far the best park we have stayed at in regards to receiving and distributing mail/packages. The people in the office are great about organizing and separating the mail/packages.
There are two pools/hot tubs that are always clean and positioned perfectly to capture the most amount of Sun or Shade depending on your preference. There is also a store here in case you forgot or need common items.
No park is perfect especially when you consider the wide range of guests they have to serve but we consider Coyote Valley to be one of the best places we stay as full time RV’ers. They staff it appropriately and are extremely quick at fixing any issues that might occur.
We highly recommend Coyote Valley if you are ever visiting the Morgan Hill or San Jose area. This is at least our 3rd time here and we will be back many more times!
Complaint filed with the DOJ about their ADA discrimination.
This place is a joke....barely meets RV Resort criteria.
For starters, it's ridiculously expensive. They've got a pool that's got no shade or usable chairs, a laundry room with no fan or AC and machines that leak, and a dog park with no lights. The wifi only works in the front office, so if you want to use it on your phone or laptop, you have to walk to the front office (don't ask about if they plan on fixing it, it's a hard no).
And then there's the customer service—which is non-existent. My parents have been asked to vacate within 30 days because I, their child, came to visit them. Ms. Hamilton actually took it upon herself to tell me how long an 'appropriate' amount of time to visit my parents was. The list of rules given when you check in is not accurate. Half of them aren't enforced, and the other half management 'changes' at their convenience.
If you'd like your life to be micromanaged by the owner, then this is the place for you. Take a look at how she responds to customer reviews!
