Spacious Skies Country Oaks is a sweet little haven in the southern New Jersey countryside, 30 minutes from Ocean City and just another 10 minutes to Atlantic City. Offering both wooded and open RV and tent sites, as well as a number of deluxe patio sites and rustic cabins, come enjoy the large swimming facilities onsite, traditional campground recreation hall, and pastoral ambiance. Easy adventure awaits at the nearby country parks, nature preserves and centers, as well as the Great Egg Harbor River that feeds right into the ocean.

Nice campground and amenities. We only stayed one night but it’s obvious they are all about quality fun. For Labor Day weekend they had movies each night, food trucks and everyone was having a nice time. Our neighbors were friendly and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly on the phone and in person. There are a lot of rules but I appreciated them for not allowing flags with political or profane messages and quiet times, etc. Great location for trying our e-bikes on all the back roads and forest trails!
We moved 11 years ago from another campground (which had been bought out by a corporation) to family-owned Country Oaks. After nine years of happy camping the campground was sold to Spacious Skies. Obviously, there was consternation as our previous experience with corporations was not positive and the root cause for our move to Country Oaks. Despite the mass exodus of other seasonals over the last two years a group of us decided to stay. Although last year (2022) was rough, this year has been wonderful.
With the appointment of a new manager, excellent staff and the injection of money into upgrading/adding facilities this campground is quickly becoming a first class operation. Michelle has been a wonderful manager and with her promotion the replacement manager of Sadie is a an excellent choice. Last but not least, Jimmy is the best - so amenable, helpful and always upbeat.
My only criticism/request would be a return to more nighttime activities on Saturday nights for adults - such as dances with live bands, nighttime swims with DJ and family events.
The staff is overly friendly! Their accommodations and Customer Service are beyond amazing! Very attentive to detail! The sites are spacious and you can tell the campground is VERY well maintained. Thank you so much for having us and we will DEFINITELY be returning!
My two children and I stayed Columbus Day weekend in Cabin 2 to escape life and it was perfect! The staff, Sadie Deb and Rick as well as Jim were so great and attentive! This campground is a slice of heaven right down the road. The kids loved the jumping pillow and we even won a round of candy bar bingo! Brought the dog for a night as well! Can’t wait to book our next stay!
The staff at Country Oaks is outstanding!!! Jim is a fantastic, attentive, respectful gentle soul. His expertise and overall knowledge of campground maintenance had been very helpful. Sadie is also professional, accommodating and attentive. She makes a wonderful manager. Patty is always helpful, smiling and brightens my day when I see her. Rick is hardworking and attentive to our needs.
