We moved 11 years ago from another campground (which had been bought out by a corporation) to family-owned Country Oaks. After nine years of happy camping the campground was sold to Spacious Skies. Obviously, there was consternation as our previous experience with corporations was not positive and the root cause for our move to Country Oaks. Despite the mass exodus of other seasonals over the last two years a group of us decided to stay. Although last year (2022) was rough, this year has been wonderful.

With the appointment of a new manager, excellent staff and the injection of money into upgrading/adding facilities this campground is quickly becoming a first class operation. Michelle has been a wonderful manager and with her promotion the replacement manager of Sadie is a an excellent choice. Last but not least, Jimmy is the best - so amenable, helpful and always upbeat.

My only criticism/request would be a return to more nighttime activities on Saturday nights for adults - such as dances with live bands, nighttime swims with DJ and family events.
