This place has a great lake with a park and live music. The music is really great. I do wish they had a dock for the kids to jump in the water to make it more exciting in the lake. The mosquitos here are absolutely the worst I have ever come across. We were getting bit up all day and night. We have stayed at many campgrounds in this area and never had anything as bad as this one mosquito wise. I'm not sure we can return for this reason alone. Everything is kept nice and clean accept for the air conditioners in the cabin. I am sensitive to mold and could smell the mold and musty smell. Luckily I had a diffuser with me that worked well. The air conditioners should be cleaned at minimum once a season. I do have this issue in other cabins at other campgrounds as well. This place is big! I would have liked some trails for the kids to ride their bikes because most of the roads are narrow with some cars driving too fast. Our group didn't feel comfortable with our kids riding their bikes after dark. We had a very large branch that fell in front of our cabin that could have done some major damage to our car or one of us. It honestly could have been life threatening if it hit someone. I will add a picture if I can figure out how. There was some staff who drove by and cleared it quickly. The firewood was too wet. I feel we have the same issue at each campground but never enough room to bring our own wood. The cabins are very nice and spacious. the guy at the gate didn't want to help give directions. He ended up telling us the wrong way after I tried confirming the right way. Which was on the very first street! There were no signs for how long boats and paddle boards were open so we missed that as well. I went to the Cafe 20 minutes before they closed and they said they couldn't serve me anything but ice cream. 10 minutes I understand but not 20. Overall we would return if the mosquitos were under control. We did have a good time here overall.

We have camped here in our RV a few times. Lots of amenities and things to do onsite as well as attractions near by. They have a nice pool with kiddy area, big store, on site eateries, mini golf, their own lake with a beach for swimming, paddle boats, fishing ponds, ball courts and fields, planned activities, themed weekends, live entertainment, it goes on. It will keep the kids and family busy for sure. It’s close to beaches. They don’t allow golf carts so if you’re not fond of walking everywhere bring your bikes and e-bikes because it’s a big place.

This is our second time here and we absolutely love it. There is a lot to at the campground and it’s close to so many Jersey shore points that you can be as busy as you want. The staff is incredible and the bathrooms and showers are immaculate. Our only complaints were that our sewer hookup was at the very back of the site and our hose didn’t reach so my husband had to buy another one and that our site had absolutely no Wi-Fi. We were in Walnut 20 which is pretty far back.

Great place stay for families. Very accommodating on all levels.

Very clean & well kept grounds. We have been RV camping for many years there with grandkids. They love it even now when they are mid teens. I believe it to be a safe place for the kids. Would suggest you parents to instruct kids on bike safety. As there is many vehicles coming & going. More expensive then some campgrounds but far better value for accommodations. One Happy Camper

It was definitely the best family vacation in many years. We found everything we were looking for and more, for 15 days I saw my son be away from the computer and phone, asking from morning to night to go to the lake, pool or ride the train, not even the beach was in his plans. New friends that he still has and enjoy bike rides. The only unfortunate thing is that due to OVR policy, we cannot bring our pet, since our cabin is rented, and dogs are not accepted. It would be wonderful if they installed new policies regarding that just like other campsites in the area have, which charge a little more, but allow dogs that are also an important part of the family.
