Near town of Collbran, CO at an elevation of 10,100 feet. ??Hiking, ATV trails, fishing and jeep roads are nearby. ??One of the last campgrounds to open being on the North side of Crag Crest ridge and shaded. ??There are 36 sites almost are are shaded. ??Maximum spur length - 40 ft.
In Collbran, CO, at "Access Grand Mesa" sign, take 58 « Rd. south 1.9 miles to "T" intersection. Turn left, staying on 58 « Rd. (which becomes 59 Rd.), and go 5.8 miles to Forest Rt. 521. Continue straight on Rt. 521 (gravel) and go 4.4 miles to campground sign (Forest Rt. 257). Turn right onto Rt. 257 and go 5 miles to another campground sign. Turn left at sign and go 0.2 miles to campground.
